With this feature, you can define the Min. selection per order and Max. selection per order for each booking option. This allows you to apply group rules and quantity limits directly in the booking flow.

This is especially helpful for multi-bookings, for example for tours, tickets, course spots, or participant bookings.

Where is this feature configured?

You can find this setting here: Service > Booking option > Advanced settings.

There, you can define the following individually for each booking option:

  • Min. selection per order

  • Max. selection per order

Important: These limits apply per booking option and not globally to the entire service. If you use multiple booking options, each option can have its own values.

How does this feature behave in the booking flow?

The defined minimum and maximum values are applied directly during booking. This means:

  • If the selected quantity is below the Min. selection per order, the booking cannot be completed as usual

  • If the selected quantity is above the Max. selection per order, that quantity is prevented in the booking flow

This ensures that the rules are enforced directly during the booking process.

Who is this relevant for?

This feature is relevant for all services with multi-bookings, for example:

  • tour tickets

  • participant bookings

  • seats or spots

  • course spots as quantity bookings

It is especially useful for offers with:

  • a group rate from X people

  • a minimum number of participants

  • clear quantity limits per booking option

Typical use case

A typical example is a tour booking with a group rate:

A booking is only allowed from 6 people and up to a maximum of 20 people.

This prevents a group option from being booked incorrectly for too few or too many people.
