Activate Service Availabilities first under Account settings → Features.
How do service schedules work?
Service schedules act as an additional filter layer on top of the resource’s base availability. They can only narrow availability further, not extend it. The basic principle:- The resource defines the base availability (e.g. Mon-Sun 08:00-20:00).
- The service schedule narrows down when this specific booking option is bookable within the resource availability (e.g. only Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00).
- Result: the booking option is only available in the overlap of both time frames.
When do I use this?
- You have several booking options with different times on the same resource: e.g. a standard option Mon-Fri and a premium option only Tue/Thu afternoons.
- You want to limit certain services in time: e.g. a course only in the morning, even though the room is available all day.
- You need lunch breaks for a service: create the same day twice (e.g. Mon 09:00-12:00 and Mon 13:00-18:00).
- Not suitable for: changing the general availability of a resource. Use the schedules at the resource level for that (Resource → Availability → Schedules).
Relationship with other features
- Resource schedules: define the base availability. Service schedules are an additional layer on top.
- Global blockers: block time frames entirely for all services. Service schedules, by contrast, control availability per booking option.
- Booking rules: limit the number of bookings. Service schedules control when a booking is possible.

Create the affected day twice: once for the morning (e.g. 09:00-12:00) and once for the afternoon (e.g. 13:00-18:00). This creates a gap in which no booking is possible.
