How does managing customers work?
Customer overview (table)
The customer list shows all customers in a table with the columns first name, last name, email, company, city, and creation date. You can:- Filter by first name, last name, email, company, or city using the search field (results update as you type)
- Sort the list by clicking column headers (ascending/descending)
- Create a customer manually via New +
- Export customer data via Export
Customer detail page
Click an entry to open the detail page with all the customer’s information:- Customer data: All stored information (name, email, address, phone, language, custom fields). Here you can also create customer-specific custom fields that appear on all customer profiles.
- Bookings: All of the customer’s bookings with a context menu (decline, cancel, delete, resend confirmation). Use + New to create a new booking with prefilled customer data.
- Orders: All linked orders with a context menu (cancel, change payment status, delete, download PDF, resend confirmation).
- Agreements: All confirmed legal documents (checkboxes and digital signatures).
Creating customers automatically vs. manually
A customer record is created automatically as soon as an order comes in from an unknown person. Bookings and orders from known customers are assigned automatically. To add customers manually, go to Customers → New +: fill in the required fields, optionally add an address and custom fields, then save. When do I use this?
- You want to view and edit customer information centrally: Open the customer list and navigate to the profile.
- You need extra fields for your customers (for example customer number, department, allergies): Create custom fields that appear on all profiles.
- You want to create a booking for an existing customer: Open the customer profile and click + New under Bookings.
- You want to review a customer’s confirmed legal documents: Open the customer profile and switch to the Agreements tab.
- You manage business customers with several employees: Use company profiles for central company data.
