Core structure & navigation

Anything that is bookable in anny: rooms, workspaces, equipment, events, courses, services, or parking spaces. Resources are the central object that everything revolves around.
A specific individual option within a resource that is available multiple times. Example: workspace 1, 2, 3 within the “Open Space” resource. When booking, customers choose a specific child resource or are assigned one automatically.
Defines how a resource is booked: duration, price, interval, and rules. Technically identical. The displayed term depends on the resource category (rooms/equipment = booking option, services = service).
A classification of a resource predefined by anny (e.g. meeting room, parking space, flex desk, workshop). A mandatory field when creating a resource. Controls the structure on the booking page.
A self-created organizational unit for services. Controls the structure of services on the booking page and in the admin calendar. Optional.
The backend of anny. This is where resources are set up, bookings are managed, customers are maintained, and all settings are configured.
The frontend for customers. This is where resources are discovered, bookings are made, and existing reservations are managed. Areas: Home, Discover, Planner, Bookings.
Central configuration of the organization: layout, checkout, features, payments, security, and more. Accessible via the avatar (top right).

Availability & time control

Defines regular, recurring opening hours of a resource (weekday + start/end time). Can be shared with several resources. Several schedules per resource are possible, with priority determined by their order.
A specific, individual time window with a fixed date. For courses, events, or workshops. Can optionally be configured as recurring. Not to be confused with schedules.
Additionally restricts the availability of a booking option without changing the resource schedules.
Determines how often a resource can be booked at the same time: singly available (1x), multiply available (up to the set number), or child resources (specific individual options).
An optional start and end date of a schedule. Without an entry, the schedule applies permanently. Used for seasonal deviations.
Blocks several resources at the same time for a defined period (e.g. a public holiday, company holidays). Independent of schedules.
Reserves a time slot exclusively for a single order, so that no other customers can book in the same slot (e.g. group events).
Automatically notifies customers as soon as a fully booked time slot becomes available again.
Automatically adjusts the capacity of appointments to demand by adding on-demand resources as demand rises.
A resource that is only made available automatically when needed (rising demand). Part of dynamic capacity planning.

Booking flow & types

The standard booking flow: customers first choose a specific resource, then the desired booking option.
An alternative booking flow: customers first choose the service, then optionally the person or resource that provides it. anny can also assign the resource automatically.
Determines in the service-first flow which resource is assigned automatically: First Available (first by order), Round Robin (rotating distribution), or Random.
Controls how a booking affects the resource: standard (blocks), transparent (does not block), multiple (blocks several capacity units), or full (blocks the entire capacity, only for child resources).
Determines the duration of a booking option: fixed duration (predefined), flexible duration (min/max range), duration by schedule (fills the entire slot), or series (several appointments as a package).
The time gap between possible start times of a booking option (e.g. every 30 minutes).
The earliest possible booking time in the future. Prevents short-notice bookings.
The maximum period of how far into the future a booking can be made.
Buffer time automatically blocked before and/or after a booking. Not billed.
A booking that is automatically repeated at a regular interval (e.g. weekly). Only possible for free booking options.
Several related appointments as a bookable package (e.g. an 8-part yoga course). Customers book all appointments at once.
A checkout process that combines one or more bookings. Contains the price, payment information, and booking details.

Smart Availability & dependencies

Links resources to each other so that a booking automatically blocks all dependent resources, without customers seeing or selecting them.
A pool of resources from which anny automatically selects one available resource per group. For flexible setups with several resource types (e.g. 2 staff members + 1 room).
An automatically created reservation of a dependent resource in Smart Availability. Appears as a blocker in the calendar of the dependent resource.
A resource that is automatically blocked as well when another resource is booked. Configured via the resource tab in the booking option.

Customers & access

A closed area within an anny account. Controls who can see and book certain resources. Members are added manually, via auto-join (domain/SSO/booking rule), or through a subscription.
A credit that is assigned to a person and used up automatically with each matching booking. Types: quantity, duration, or budget. One-time or recurring.
A purchasable, purpose-bound service package (e.g. a 10-pack). Customers receive an 8-digit booking code that they redeem at checkout for future bookings.
An 8-digit code from a booking package. Entered at checkout and reduces the booking price (the quota is used up).
A multi-purpose voucher with pure monetary value (0% VAT at purchase). Redeemed as a means of payment for any bookings. Not purpose-bound.
A percentage or fixed price reduction that customers enter at checkout. No credit logic, purely price-reducing.
Defines the terms of a subscription: price, interval, term, notice period, and optional benefits (community access, quota).
Organizes subscription plans hierarchically. Within a group, a person may only have one active subscription. The order determines the upgrade and downgrade logic.
Linked persons on whose behalf you can book (e.g. colleagues). Enables bookings by third parties.
Account-wide rules that limit the number of allowed bookings per period. With a scope (resource/group/category) and user control (block list/white list).

Booking extensions

Optional extras that customers can add during the booking process (e.g. catering, equipment, drinks).
Individual form fields per booking option that are requested at checkout or at check-in (e.g. allergies, T-shirt size).

Lets you add additional people to a booking and control their visibility, permissions, and calendar sync.
Automatically generated, personalized proofs of participation for seminars, workshops, or courses.
Price modifiers that automatically adjust the base price of a booking option: by weekday, time of day, capacity, community membership, lead time, or number of bookings.
A rule within dynamic pricing that increases or decreases the price. Types: one-time discount/surcharge, per interval, percentage.
Rules that define by when and at what cost customers can cancel their bookings.
Additional email information that is inserted into confirmation emails and reminders at account, resource, or booking option level.

A ticket with a QR code issued at booking that is scanned on entry. Can be activated per resource.
A tablet with the anny Check-In App that stands at the entrance and scans QR codes or enables on-site registrations.
Manages walk-in customers and scheduled appointments with number calling, counters, and call displays.
Turns tablets and smart TVs into interactive room displays with live status, ad-hoc booking, and check-in.
