Share maps with managed organizations

If your organization manages other organizations (sidebar item Organizations), you can share floor plans with them. Managed organizations see the map under ResourcesMaps with the Shared badge. There they can only assign their own resources to free spots. They cannot change the floor plan, walls, or furniture. New maps in the managing organization are shared by default. You can start or stop sharing at any time.
1

Create the map in the managing organization

Draw buildings, floors, and resource areas as described above. The geometry stays with you.
2

Start sharing

In the map list, choose Share with managed organizations. The map then appears automatically in the managed organizations’ maps. They can assign their own resources to free spots without changing your map.
3

Assign resources in the managed organization

Open the shared map under ResourcesMaps. You only assign your own resources to existing free spots. Drawing, moving, or deleting floor-plan elements is not available there.
4

Stop sharing

Choose Stop sharing. The map disappears from the managed organizations, and all resources they assigned are unassigned.
