How does broadcast work?
Broadcast works in three steps:- Define recipients: You choose one of three bases (bookings, customers, or subscriptions) and filter the target group by criteria such as period, resource, community, or subscription plan.
- Configure the message: You create a message with a subject, content, and an optional button. Using placeholders (for example,
#FirstName) you personalize the text automatically. - Send: You decide whether the message is sent once immediately or recurring (daily, weekly, monthly).
When do I use this?
- You need to inform customers about changes at short notice (for example, a room closure or cancellation): A one-time broadcast to all affected bookings.
- You want to automate regular reminders (for example, weekly planning, equipment returns): A recurring broadcast with matching filters.
- You want to address subscription customers specifically (for example, an event newsletter, renewal notice): A broadcast based on subscriptions with a subscription plan filter.
- Not suitable for: Transactional individual notifications such as booking confirmations or reminders. Use email templates for those.
