The activity log shows you the full history of an object at a glance: status changes, sent emails with their delivery status, invitations, and your team’s internal notes. It combines the former email tracker and the activity protocol into a single, chronological timeline. You find the activity log on Bookings, Orders, and in the customer detail view.

How does the activity log work?

All events are captured automatically and shown grouped by date. Each entry includes:
  • Who triggered the action (customer, admin, or integration)
  • What happened (for example, booking created, email sent, note added)
  • When the event took place
  • Status (for emails: Delivered, Opened; for bookings: Upcoming, and so on)

Entry types

Email status

If the status shows “Delivered” but the recipient cannot find the email: the message may be in the “Unknown”, “Other”, or “Spam” folder.

Internal notes

Using the input field at the bottom of the activity log, you can add internal notes for your team. They are only visible in the admin area and are never shared with customers. Notes support:
  • @ mentions of team members
  • File attachments
  • Emojis

Search and filter

Using the icons in the top right of the activity log, you can search entries and filter by type to quickly find the information you need.

When do I use this?

  • You want to check the delivery status of a booking confirmation: The activity log shows you right away whether an email was delivered or opened.
  • Your team needs to record internal information about a booking: Notes in the activity log are the central place for team context.
  • A customer asks about the history of a booking: The chronological feed shows the full history from creation to the current status.

FAQ

Customers often deactivate their email notifications in their profile. The booking remains visible in the anny app or on the booking page under Bookings. Once notifications are reactivated, you can send a new booking notification via the three dots in the booking detail view.
No. Internal notes are visible only in the admin area and are never shown by email or on the booking page.
This message appears when anny receives no positive response from the email recipient. Causes: 1) customers marked emails as spam, 2) the recipient address does not exist, 3) the recipient actively refused to receive emails.

Troubleshooting

Open tracking relies on an invisible tracking pixel. Some email clients block external content by default. In that case the status stays on “Delivered”, even when the email was actually read.
Changes triggered by an integration (for example, calendar sync) can appear in the log with a slight delay. Reload the page to see the current state.
Check whether the notification (bell icon) was deactivated when the booking was created. If so, you can send the booking confirmation afterwards via the three dots in the booking detail view.
