With dynamic pricing, you adjust the prices of your booking options automatically to various factors. Instead of creating a separate booking option for every scenario, you define price modifiers with conditions that raise or lower the base price.
Available from the Professional Plan.

How does dynamic pricing work?

Dynamic pricing works with price modifiers. A price modifier changes the base price of a booking option when one or more conditions are met. The process:
  1. You open dynamic pricing via the link above the price field in the booking option
  2. You create one or more price modifiers
  3. For each modifier, you set the type of price change and the conditions
  4. During a booking, anny automatically checks whether the conditions apply and adjusts the price

Types of price modifiers

A one-time discount cannot be larger than the price of a single interval. If several intervals should be free, use a free base duration in the booking option instead.

Conditions

Each price modifier can be tied to one or more conditions:

Condition logic

You can set whether all conditions must apply (AND logic) or whether one is enough (OR logic). You also choose whether the modifier is applied per individual booking or to the entire order.
Multiple price modifiers can be combined. The order matters: they are applied one after another in the defined order. Pay attention to whether you want to apply percentage or absolute values first.

Price preview and display

In the Dynamic pricing area you can additionally:
  • Set a manual price preview (e.g. “from €15”) that is shown on the booking page
  • Show or hide the price breakdown for customers (especially helpful with discounts)
  • Customize the price preview individually per language

When do I use this?

  • You want to charge weekend or holiday surcharges: Create a percentage surcharge with a weekday or date condition
  • You have customer groups with special conditions (e.g. members, regular customers): Use the community condition for automatic discounts
  • You want to steer utilization via the price: Automatically raise the price from a certain utilization level
  • You offer group discounts or volume tiers: Combine booking-count conditions with tiered discounts
  • You have different prices per seat, zone, or employee within a booking option: Store price modifiers directly on the resource or child resource, instead of creating multiple booking options.
  • Not suitable for: Completely different products or services. For those, create separate booking options with their own prices.

Examples in practice

A bike rental wants to charge 20% more per hour on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, the normal rate applies.
A tour provider wants to grant a 5% discount from 5 people and a 10% discount from 10 people.
A coworking space offers an open flex-desk area with multiple child resources (Desk 1–4). Certain desks by the window should be more expensive than those in the interior, without creating separate booking options.

FAQ

Yes. All modifiers whose conditions are met are applied one after another. You can adjust the order via drag & drop.
The cancellation terms relate to the price actually charged (that is, including all applied modifiers).
Yes. Discount codes are applied on top of the dynamic price modifiers.
Only if you enable the price breakdown in the dynamic pricing settings. Otherwise customers see only the final price.
Yes. Use the “lead time” condition (e.g. lead time greater than 14 days) in combination with a percentage discount.

Troubleshooting

Check whether the conditions apply exactly. With the “All must apply” logic, one unmet condition is enough for the modifier not to take effect. Test with the price preview during booking creation.
The price preview on the resource tile shows the price of the first booking option. If you have set a manual price preview, it overrides the automatic calculation. Check under Dynamic pricingPrice preview.
Make sure the customers are logged in when booking and are assigned to the right community. Community-based price modifiers only take effect for authenticated users.
