On a resource you can combine two settings: Allow multiple selection of services and Sequence multiple services. Customers can then pick several services or booking options at once on the booking page.
For Sequence multiple services, first enable Booking sequences under Avatar → Account settings → Features.

How does this work?

Without sequencing, multiple selections run in parallel. Typical for courses or events: several people book the same time slot. With Sequence multiple services, anny places the services one after another. The total duration grows, for example a haircut plus coloring for the same person. You find both toggles under Resources → your resource → Services or Booking options tab.

Set it up

Turn bookings on

Open the resource and connect at least one service or booking option. Enable Bookings enabled.

Allow multiple selection

If the resource is available more than once, Allow multiple selection of services appears. Turn the toggle on.

Optionally sequence them

If Booking sequences is enabled, Sequence multiple services appears. Turn the toggle on if the services should be booked one after another instead of in parallel.

Set an upper limit

Under Maximum number of selected services you limit how many services can be combined in one booking.
Once the toggles are on, customers can select multiple services on the booking page, as long as the following conditions are met.

Which conditions must be met?

The services or booking options that should be booked together must use the same settings. If one setting differs, the combination is shown as unavailable on the booking page. For daily bookings, Start time and End time must also match. In addition:
  • All services are attached to the same resource.
  • None of the services is a series. Series cannot be sequenced.
  • The resource has no child resources. Otherwise multiple selection does not appear on the booking page.
Check payment, tax rate, and time period first. Those are the most common reasons two services cannot be combined.

When do I use this?

  • You offer combinable services: for example a consultation plus a workshop, or several treatments one after another.
  • You sell courses or events: multiple selection without sequencing, so several people book the same slot.
  • Not suitable for: series, child resources, or services with different payment or tax settings.

Allow multiple selection of services appears only when Bookings enabled is on and the resource is available more than once. Sequence multiple services also needs the Booking sequences feature.
Almost always payment, tax rate, currency, or the time unit differ. Align the settings in both booking options. Series cannot be combined at all.
Parallel means several bookings share the same time slot, for example participants in a course. Sequencing extends the total duration: service 2 starts when service 1 ends.

Troubleshooting

The resource has child resources, or Allow multiple selection of services is off. Remove the child resources or turn the toggle on.
The service does not match the current selection. Align payment, tax rate, currency, and time period. Make sure both services are attached to the same resource.
The Booking sequences feature is off, or a series is attached to the resource. Remove the series or enable the feature under Account settings → Features.
