Where to find the feature
You set up your device once in the anny POS app during the payment process (checkout). Requirements:- You’ve downloaded the anny POS app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- You have a Stripe S700/S710 (network), a BBPOS WisePad 3 (Bluetooth) or a supported Android tablet.
Step-by-step guide
When you use the POS app on your tablet for the first time and no device is paired yet, you always start with these basic preparations:1
Download the app and log in
Download the anny POS app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and log in.

Start Pair reader
Create a booking up to checkout and click Pair reader there once.

Choose a method
The Pair device pop-up opens. Choose your preferred method here: Bluetooth, Network or Tap to Pay. Then click Pair new reader.
Now choose the right guide for your setup to complete pairing:
Set up the Stripe S700/S710 network reader
Connect your Stripe S700 to power and switch it on. The device needs an active Wi-Fi connection.- Swipe right on the reader’s display and open Settings.
- Enter the default admin PIN 07139.
- Connect the reader to your local Wi-Fi.
- Tap Generate Pairing Code to create a pairing code.
- In the anny POS app, go to Pair reader at checkout.
- Choose the Network option and click Pair new reader.
- Enter the generated pairing code in the app.
- Your reader is now paired successfully and stays available at checkout under “Payment methods”.
Connect the BBPOS WisePad 3 Bluetooth reader
If you use the compact Bluetooth reader, setup is especially quick.- Switch on the BBPOS WisePad 3 using the power button.
- In the anny POS app, go to Pair reader at checkout.
- Choose the Bluetooth option and click Pair new reader.
- Wait a moment. The device now connects automatically to your tablet and is then available as a payment method.
Enable Tap to Pay on an Android tablet
If you don’t have an external reader, you can use Tap to Pay. This works on selected Android tablets:- Open the anny POS app and create a booking up to checkout.
- Click Pair reader.
- Choose the Tap to Pay option.
- Your tablet is now set up to receive payments. To pay, customers simply hold their card or smartphone directly against your tablet.
When it makes sense
- The one-time hardware setup makes sense when you handle regular customer traffic at a fixed location.
- When you have walk-in customers who want to book and pay on site right away.
- When you let customers settle open invoices for existing bookings at the front desk.
- When you need a professional setup for direct customer contact.

After the first pairing, a Bluetooth reader (like the WisePad 3) often runs a short firmware update. The update can take a few minutes. Please wait until the device shows that it’s finished on the display.

In this case, the anny POS app offers a fallback: a QR code appears on the tablet. The customer scans the code with their own smartphone, lands on the pay-later page and pays there independently with Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
