Set up a Check-In terminal
1
Download the app
Download the anny Check-In app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to your tablet.
2
Pair the display
Open the app on the tablet. On first launch, a 6-digit code is shown. In parallel, open your anny admin area in the browser, navigate to Displays in the left navigation bar and click Pair Display App in the top right. Enter the 6-digit code.
3
Choose the mode
Open the paired display under Displays in the admin area and choose the appropriate mode (see the table below).
4
Assign resource(s)
Select one or more resources for the display. Make sure that Check-In is enabled for the selected resources under Resource → Check-In and that the availability is set to Multiple availability.
5
Configure language and time zone
In the general display settings, set the correct time zone and choose one or more supported languages.
6
Customize the design (optional)
Under Start screen and Design, adjust the welcome text, logo, background image/color and accent colors to match your corporate design.
7
Set up a printer (optional)
Connect a printer via Bluetooth through the tablet settings. In the app, under Settings → Printer, select the connected device and the label type. Under the resource assignment, create a badge template (see the section below).
8
Test
Run a test check-in: create a booking for an assigned resource and scan the QR code ticket at the terminal. Check whether the check-in is shown as successful.
Collect forms and legal documents at check-in
If a booking option uses Later (at check-in) for legal documents or custom forms, the terminal asks for those details during check-in instead of at checkout.- The first scan returns that further details are required.
- The guest completes the on-screen form (checkbox, signature, or custom fields).
- The terminal submits the details and completes the check-in.
Available modes
Create a badge template (optional)
If you want to print a badge, label or ticket at check-in, create a template:- In the display’s resource assignment, go to Select and create a new template.
- Choose the format (recommended: “visitor badge upright 60x86” or “visitor badge horizontal 86x60”).
- Add text fields with variables (e.g. #FirstName, #LastName, #Company, #StartTime).
- Optional: add a logo, a QR code (for check-out) or shapes.
- Save the template.
