anny provides all payment movements as structured bank statements. These can be exported automatically and imported into accounting systems such as DATEV, lexoffice, or sevDesk: either as CSV or in the bank standard CAMT.053 (XML). In addition to the transaction data, every export also contains the related receipts as PDF.
The accounting features require an active online payment (Stripe Connect). Without a Stripe connection, there is no anny payment account and no bank statements.

How does the anny payment account work?

The anny payment account (Stripe Connect) behaves like a dedicated bank account with a balance. It receives payments, settles fees, and makes payouts to the stored business account. Recommended setup in DATEV / accounting software:

Create a new bank account

Create a new bank account (for example, account 1370 “anny / Stripe”).

Store the mock IBAN

Use the mock IBAN generated by anny as the account number (format: DE00 + account ID).

Set the BIC

Enter STRIPE as the BIC. CAMT files can then be imported directly as a bank statement.
This way, the accounting system treats anny like a regular bank connection with an opening and closing balance.

Transaction types

Payouts from anny to the business account are not separate business transactions, but only a transfer posting between two accounts (debit on the anny account, credit on the business account). Nothing extra needs to be booked per payout.

Fee models

anny supports two fee models, which affect how things appear on the bank statement.

Old model (until 13.04.2026)

Fees are deducted directly from the gross amount on incoming payment. Only the net amount appears on the bank statement.
With this model, the amount on the bank statement does not match the customer invoice 1:1. The difference results from Stripe and anny fees.

New model (from 13.04.2026)

Fees are not deducted on incoming payment, but settled only on payout as a separate collection. This way, every transaction has exactly one matching receipt.

When do I use this?

  • You use online payment and want to automate your accounting: set up a monthly export and hand the ZIP archive to your tax advisor.
  • You work with DATEV: use the CAMT.053 export as a bank statement with running balance.
  • You need a daily revenue overview: set up a daily export with a revenue summary.
  • You want to evaluate tips per staff member: the daily export breaks down POS tips per person.
  • Not suitable for: accounts without online payment. Without Stripe, there are no bank statements.

ZIP archive (statement bundle)

Every export is provided as a ZIP and contains:
  • statement.xml (or .csv / .xlsx): bank statement
  • revenue-summary.pdf: revenue overview by tax rate
  • receipt-index.csv: mapping of transaction → receipt
  • receipts/: all invoice PDFs
The revenue overview breaks down: revenue by tax rate (19%, 7%, tax-free), tax-free voucher sales, and tips (POS).

Automatic exports

Delivery options: email (also directly to the tax advisor), SFTP, FTP, S3.
Set up the tax advisor as an email recipient in your export schedule under Account › Settings › Export Schedules. They then automatically receive the complete ZIP archive with the bank statement and all receipts at the start of the month.

Import the monthly export

Import the CAMT.053 file as a bank statement into DATEV (account 1370 “anny / Stripe”). Booking suggestions are generated automatically.

Assign receipts

Assign the invoice PDFs from the ZIP to the bookings. The receipt-index.csv helps with the assignment via invoice number.

Link payouts

Link payouts on the anny account with incoming payments on the business account (transfer posting).

Check the revenue overview

Use the revenue-summary.pdf to check the revenue and tax accounts.

FAQ

If a refund or chargeback exceeds the anny balance, a negative balance arises. Stripe collects the missing amount by SEPA direct debit from the stored bank account, to balance the account.
Payments go through a processing time: 5 business days from incoming payment plus 1 day after the booking begins. For packages and subscriptions, only the 5 business days apply (no booking reference).
Yes. The monthly export contains the complete bank statement with all transactions, payouts, and receipts. A daily export is only needed for internal reconciliation or tip evaluation.
No. Payouts are already included in the bank statement as an outgoing entry. The tax advisor links them with the incoming payment on the business account (a simple transfer posting).

Troubleshooting

You are probably still using the old fee model (until 13.04.2026), where fees are deducted directly on incoming payment. With the new model (from 13.04.2026), amounts match 1:1.
Make sure you selected the ZIP format. Only ZIP exports contain the invoice PDFs and the receipt-index.csv.
Check whether you created a bank account in DATEV with the anny mock IBAN and BIC “STRIPE”. Without this account, DATEV cannot assign the file.
