Note: Since anny is integrated into Tapirx, all settings and setup steps must be made in the Tapirx client admin area, the respective resource only needs to be created and online.
Setup in Tapirx
Go to the Tapirx admin site and log in to the Tapirx client admin with your credentials.
Click on the "Client admin" link in the top menu and select Resources.
Creating the resources in Tapirx
Now you have to mirror the anny resources you later want to see in Tapirx. There are fewer options compared to anny and therefore it takes less time.
Click on "+add resource" and create the resources you want to show on the display(s) once again. Best practice i to name them similarly or exactly as in anny.
Connect the resources:
Once you have created all the resources, go back to "Client admin" and select the "Device list" item under Devices.
You should see your devices listed here. Click on "Menu" and select "Settings".
Now select the correct resource for each device, make further settings and save your changes. You should definitely adjust the link for the QR code so that your customers have the option of accessing the resource by scanning the QR code. You can find the link in anny under Resource > Booking page > Booking link.
Connecting with anny
Now the displays still need to be connected to anny. To do this, stay in the "Devices" area and select "Pair with anny.co" again via the menu. When you click on this, you will be shown a code, which you must then enter at https://app.anny.co/displays/panels. To do this, select "Link display" at the top right and then enter the 6-digit code. Then add the desired resource in anny. Don't forget to save!
You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in the article displays.
Connecting the Tapirx devices with WLAN
Use your smartphone or computer and connect to the WLAN hotspot "TAPIRX...".
Use the password that was sent to you by e-mail
Enter http://192.168.4.1 4 in your browser
Enter your WLAN connection data (network name and password)
Replace the link in the "Base URL" field with the one that was sent to you by e-mail.
Click on "Submit". After submitting, the device tests the Wi-Fi connection and, if it works, switches to "Run Mode". If there is a problem with the Wi-Fi connection, an error is displayed on the device.
Important: Device only works in 2.4 GHz networks.
Notes on the hardware:
If you need to reset your display, you will find a small hole at the bottom next to the USB-C slot, into which you need to insert a pin and hold the button down for 5 seconds.
The charging time depends on how often the device refreshes the screen. In the Tapirx client admin application, you can select a refresh time between 5 and 30 minutes.
With a refresh time of 30 minutes, the estimated recharge time is once in two years. Please note that the distance to the Wi-Fi signal source also has a significant impact on energy consumption.
As soon as the battery is empty, this will be displayed on the screen, and you will be notified by email.
