This integration streamlines synchronization between anny and Google Calendar, ensuring no scheduling conflicts and providing you with a seamless overview of your appointments.
Who is the integration suitable for?
This integration is particularly ideal for personal appointment coordination and consultations. It allows you to connect personal calendars with your corresponding resources. To connect room calendars via Google Workspace, we recommend our separate Google Workspace integration
Authorization
You can find the integrations in the resource settings under the Calendar tab
Activate the calendar integration by logging in with your desired
Google account and authorizing the connection.
If you have several Google calendars, you can set which one you want to use for the resource here.
Settings
The integration has the following settings:
Select booking option: Select the booking option for which an appointment is to be created here. If no booking option is selected, an appointment is always created.
Title of the bookings in anny: Select which title the blocker coming from the Google calendar should have in anny, here you can choose between an anonymized display or the title of the event.
Title in Google Calendar: this can either be the title of the booking, booking number, name of the resource, name of the service or the name of the resource + booking option.
Add set-up and follow-up time: when activated, the appointment is entered with set-up and follow-up time in Google.
Add Google Meet to the appointment: An online meeting is created in Google for the appointment booked in anny. This setting can also be restricted to certain booking options.
What Get's Synced?
anny -> Google
All bookings from your Anny resource are automatically added to your Google Calendar. The corresponding appointment is created, updated, or deleted within seconds.
Google -> anny
Appointments created in Google Calendar are automatically transmitted to anny, defined as blockers, and can be edited or deleted within anny.
Synchronization Period
The integration syncs from the current day for the next six months. Appointments and bookings outside this period are disregarded, unless manually adjusted by the user.
Depiction
In the Google Calendar, synchronized appointments appear in a dark blue shade, similar to Anny's blue. Appointments from your Google Calendar are displayed in gray in Anny.
Child Resources
The integration transfers "busy" and "available" settings in the calendar, displaying them as unavailable in the anny Calendar. Bookings from child resources are also synchronized. Note that the integration always operates on the parent resource and cannot be individually set up for specific child resources.
Series and Booking Activity
Recurring appointments are treated the same as individual ones, resulting in corresponding bookings.
Deactivation and Removal of Integration
Activation initiates the initial synchronization. Upon deactivation and reactivation, only new appointments and bookings are transmitted. Deactivation halts synchronization but does not remove existing entries. Deleting the integration is necessary for complete removal.
