How to set up LinkedIn Ads tracking with Insight Tag, conversions, and server events.

This article guides you through the complete setup of LinkedIn Ads tracking in anny. Learn how to add your Partner ID, connect conversion actions, and enable server-side events via API token to reliably track conversions even when cookies are not accepted.


Insert LinkedIn Partner ID

  1. Go to your ad account in Campaign Manager.

  2. Click Data on the left menu, then click Signals manager.

  3. Click Insight Tag.

    1. If you haven’t created an Insight Tag, review the LinkedIn Ads Agreement and click Agree & create.

    2. Then add the Insight Tag to your website.

    3. Click the I will use a tag manager dropdown.

  4. Click the partner ID box to copy to your clipboard.

Connect conversion actions

  1. Select Signal Manager and choose Insight Tag.

3. Click on Create conversion

4. Select Set up conversion manually and the Action-specific mode. Then copy the conversion ID from the script below.

5. Create a new conversion in the integration settings and add the conversion ID.


API Token für Server Events hinterlegen

Server conversion events can also be transmitted if a booking is made immediately after opening the advertisement and, for example, no cookies have been accepted. This supplements the general tracking via the Insight Tag.

  1. Select Generate Access Token and follow the steps.

2. Copy the access token from LinkedIn and paste it into anny.
