anny AI is your AI-powered phone assistant that answers calls, makes bookings, responds to frequently asked questions, and transfers to your team when needed. This article shows you how to activate anny AI and complete the first steps.
Requirements
• You are using anny on at least the Essential Plan.
• You have access to the account settings in the anny admin area.
• Additional costs apply for anny AI. Billing is calculated per minute based on the selected anny AI package.
How to set up anny AI
Open the anny admin area and navigate to the account settings.
Switch to the anny AI tab.
Read the agreement and confirm it.
Click on Set up now.
After activation, your personal anny AI phone number will be displayed immediately. Your AI assistant is reachable under this number from now on.
Important: The use of anny AI is billed separately from your existing anny subscription. Upon activation, the price is calculated proportionally to the current usage period.
What Happens After Activation?
You receive your own phone number (currently a Cologne area code). Your assistant is directly reachable under this number.
The assistant is already active with a default configuration – it greets callers, identifies itself as AI, and can provide information about your offerings.
Your website is automatically scanned. As a result, anny AI already knows the information available on your website.
After each conversation, you receive an email summary with a direct link to the conversation.
Tip: We recommend keeping your existing phone number for external use and using the anny AI number internally for call forwarding. This way, your customers' contact details remain unchanged.

How Does Billing Work?
You choose an anny AI package with a monthly minute allowance.
Billing is calculated to the second – only conversations that actually take place are charged.
Aborted calls (without connection) do not count.
Unused allowance expires at the end of the month and is not refunded.
If you exceed your allowance, additional minutes are charged.
You can view your current usage at any time in the anny AI area.
Analysis and Summaries
After each successful conversation, you receive an email with a summary and a direct link to the complete conversation. If a booking was created, it will also be linked in the email.
In the assistant interface, you will find a dashboard with information about the total duration of calls, the success rate, and the various call types.
For each individual call, you can view the transcript, a summary, and – if recording is enabled – the audio recording.
Recordings are retained for 7 days by default and then automatically deleted.
Note: You can disable the email notification after completed phone calls in your profile settings in the admin area under Notifications.
