Invoices can be flexibly saved as drafts in the admin area until they're ready to be sent to the customer. Once an invoice has been sent, it is finalized and cannot be edited anymore.
Follow these steps to edit and finalize invoice drafts:
Navigate to the 'Orders' tab in the admin area.
Select your order or use the search bar to find a specific order number/customer name.
Click on the chosen order to get a more detailed view.
Use the pencil icon to edit your invoice draft.
It's possible to add new items or adjust amounts.
Discounts or vouchers can be entered with a negative amount (-).
Once your draft is complete and ready to be sent to the customer, simply click on 'finalize'.
Tip: You can use the bell icon to control whether the customer should receive a notification about the invoice or not.
