Setup in the admin area
To set up the waiting list feature for a resource, follow these steps:
On the left-hand menu, navigate to Resources and select the desired resource.
Open the Availabilities tab and scroll to the Waiting List section.
Activate the option "Allow customers to join the waiting list".
Define the time delay (in minutes) before a notification email is sent out to waiting customers after a slot becomes available.
Save your selection by clicking on Save.
Usage on the booking page
The customer selects the desired resource and the booking date on the booking page.
If the selected time is unavailable, the message "The requested time is fully booked" will appear.
By clicking on the button Join waitlist, the customer receives an overview of the details.
Clicking again on Join waitlist places the customer on the waiting list, and they will be automatically notified by email as soon as new availability opens up.
Attention:
The waiting list is automatically managed by the system and cannot be edited manually.
The waiting list is only available for registered users.
The customer receives an automatic notification and must then book the free slot by themselves. Automatic assignment to the free slot does not occur.
The waiting list can also be applied to child resources; however, it is not possible to select a specific child resource.
