With two-factor authentication (2FA), you secure your account with an additional verification step. In addition to your password, an extra code is required when logging in. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your login. This means:
you log in as usual with your email address and password
you then confirm your login with an additional factor, such as a security code
This prevents other people from accessing your account with your password alone.
Why is this feature helpful?
Two-factor authentication is especially useful for protecting sensitive accounts and data. It is particularly recommended if:
you work with bookings, customer data, or payments in the admin area
multiple people have access to the system
you want to add extra protection to your account
Where can I enable two-factor authentication in anny?
You can either set up two-factor authentication for yourself or, as an admin, require it for your entire organization.
Enable personal 2FA
You can enable two-factor authentication in two places:
In the admin area: Open your profile in the admin area and enable two-factor authentication there
In the customer profile: End users can also protect their own account by going to the Personal Information settings and clicking Manage two-factor authentication
Enforce two-factor authentication for the entire organization
You can also enforce two-factor authentication for the entire organization. You can specify whether this applies to everyone or only to the organization’s administrators.
In the admin panel, navigate to Organization Settings and then to SSO & Security.
Scroll down to the Additional Security Options section.
Under “Enforce two-factor authentication,” select whether this should apply only to admins or to all users in the organization.
