Test your own bookingprocess and subscription plans

Would you like to test your own booking process to recreate your customers' experience, without creating costs?


Booking via the booking page

To best recreate the booking experience, it is recommended to book via the booking page itself, just like your customers would. If you have not already done so, the bookingpage must be activated.

Set the booking page live

If the bottom left corner of the booking page it says: set bookingpage live, you can click on it to get to the organization settings, where you can then activate the booking page in the top right corner. Resources and services should already be set up at this point, you can find out how to set them up in our Get started articles.

You can now book via the booking page.

Free test booking

Click on Booking page at the bottom left to open the desired booking page, where you can then select the resource and booking option or service.

Test booking of a chargeable booking option

You have several options to test the checkout process of a paid booking option without incurring any costs:

Create discount code

This is the best and safest way to make a test booking: Activate discount codes in the organization settings under the Features tab, the settings for this will appear in the left sidebar.

Click on NEW +, add a 100% relative discount and select the resource you want to test. Additional options can be included. Here you can also see which orders have been placed with this discount code.

Reject booking after testing

Chargeable bookings can be rejected retrospectively (before the start of the appointment of the booking) and the amount paid will be refunded. To do this, click on Bookings in the left sidebar, select the test booking and reject the booking either in the booking details view or by clicking on the three dots.

Note: canceling (instead of rejecting) the booking will only refund you a proportionate amount according to the cancellation conditions of the booking option.

Set booking quota

As a customer, you can give yourself a quota for booking options and/or resources and thus book free of charge, more information can be found here.


Booking via the admin area

To simply test whether the correct Smartlock accesses and notifications are being sent, you can also create bookings via the admin area either in the calendar or under Bookings by clicking on New+.

Pro tip: All Smartlock accesses and emails created can be viewed in the booking detail view.


How to test subscription plans

Join the community of the subscription plan

To test the benefits and functionality of the subscription plans, you can simply join the community associated with the subscription plan.

Note: make sure that you are only in the community(ies) to be tested for the test.

Add a trial period to the subscription

go to the subscription plan settings and add a trial period, subscribe to the subscription plan, cancel the subscription and remove the trial period. This method gives you the exact experience of your customers, remember that you must deposit a payment method.


How do I delete paid test bookings from my account?

Paid bookings cannot be deleted by yourself, as they are usually relevant for invoicing, but the Customer Success Team can delete your test bookings for you, please contact us via chat or e-mail at support@anny.co.
