You can use the booking rules to create account-wide rules for the maximum number of bookings.

Add and manage booking rules

Booking rules can be viewed, managed and edited in the account settings under the Booking rules tab. A new rule can be set by clicking on + ADD RULE:

Maximum bookings

The maximum number of bookings for the set period can be set here.

Note: If multiple weightings are set for the booking option, each weighting unit is counted as a booking in the global rule. This means that a single booking with a weighting of 4 cannot be booked with a booking limit of 3. We recommend excluding this booking option from the rule.

Time Period

The time period for which the rule applies can be set here.

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Per 2 weeks

  • Monthly

  • Yearly

  • Per time slot (here anny depends on the availability of the resource or booking option)

  • In the future (from the creation of the rule)

Show message

Optionally, a message can be displayed as an error message when the limit set in the rule is exceeded during check-out.

Pro tip: The message can be added in multiple languages, just like any other text field.

Rule Scope

The rule can either apply to all bookings or only to bookings of certain:

  • Resources

    • Groups

    • Categories

  • Services/Booking options

    • service groups

Create white lists and black lists.

The rules normally apply to all users, but you can exclude users from rules (whitelists) or create rules only for specific users (blacklists).
