By using the Legal Documents feature, you can easily and efficiently have your customers approve documents directly at checkout—either through a digital signature or a simple checkbox. This ensures you have legally compliant documentation and provides your customers with a convenient, digital method of confirmation during the booking process. Simply link the relevant documents to your services, that must be accepted or signed at checkout.
Within your anny admin area, you can attach legal documents to your resources and specify how your customers will confirm these documents at the time of booking. Depending on your legal requirements, two scenarios are particularly suitable:
Use Case – Simple Confirmation via Checkbox
Checkbox confirmation is ideal whenever a simple acknowledgment or consent is sufficient.
Example scenarios: Accepting Terms & Conditions, hygiene regulations, or house rules.
Use Case – Legally Binding Digital Signature
The digital signature is recommended whenever you need explicit and legally binding consent from your customers.
Example scenarios: Liability waivers, explicit permissions, or binding contractual agreements.
Creating a legal document
Navigate to Resources in your anny admin area and select the resource for which you want to add a legal document.
Go to Booking options, click on edit for the desired booking option.
Next, open the Form tab.
Scroll down to the Legal documents section.
Click Add and then +New to create a new legal document.
Enter a suitable name for your legal document. Choose Checkbox or Digital Signature as the confirmation method, and insert the text of the declaration you want your customers to confirm in the provided text field.
Click Save.
After saving, this document will automatically appear for your customers directly during the checkout process.
Confirming Legal Documents from a Customer's Perspective
After successfully creating the legal document, it will appear during the checkout process on your booking page:
Your document is shown to customers during checkout. As long as the document has not yet been signed or confirmed, an orange button labeled "Not signed" appears.
When customers click on "Review & Accept" (Checkbox) or "Review & Sign" (Signature), a new window will open. In this new window, customers can either select the checkbox or use the signature field to confirm the document.
Once customers have clicked "Confirm" or "Sign Document", the button changes to green and will show either "Confirmed" or "Signed".
After the booking is complete, the confirmed or signed document will automatically be saved with the respective booking.

Storage and Retrieval of Legal Documents
Signed legal documents are stored automatically and are available to you anytime. There are two ways to access these documents:
In the customer profile: Go to Customers and select the desired customer. Under the Agreements tab, you can view all legal agreements and documents that this customer has confirmed or signed.
Within the respective booking: Navigate to Bookings in your anny admin area and select the desired booking. Under the Files tab, you will find all legal documents linked to this particular booking.
