# anny MS Teams App

> Access your anny booking page directly from Microsoft Teams and book without leaving Teams.

With the anny MS Teams app you access your booking page directly from Microsoft Teams, without switching applications. This way you book rooms, desks or appointments without leaving Teams.

## Add the anny app as a user

  As an admin, you can pin the anny app for your entire team, so it appears automatically in the left bar for all team members.

## Provide the anny app for the organization (admin)

Once the app is deployed, all selected users can see and use the anny app in Teams.

## Automatic login

The first time you open the anny app in Teams, each user is asked once for permission to read the active Microsoft account. After that, login happens automatically.

  As an admin, you can grant the permission centrally for all users in your organization, so the consent does not have to be given individually.

  If self-service app consent is disabled in Microsoft Entra, an administrator must enable the anny Teams app once.
</Warning>

## Check the result

The anny app appears in your left Teams bar. When you open it, you see your anny booking page and can book directly without leaving Teams.

## FAQ

    No. The Teams app uses your existing anny account. Login happens automatically via your Microsoft account.

  <Accordion title="Does the app also work in the Teams desktop version and in the browser?">
    Yes, the anny app works in Teams desktop, in the browser and in the mobile Teams app.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I remove the app again?">
    Yes. Right-click the anny app in the left bar and select **Uninstall**. Your bookings and your anny account are not affected.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need to configure anything as an admin for the app to work?">
    Only if app consent is controlled centrally in Entra. In that case, you need to grant the permission once for the organization.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="The app shows a black screen">
    This issue can occur after a Microsoft Teams client update. Remove the anny app (right-click → **Uninstall**) and then add it again. If the issue persists, contact anny support.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The app cannot be loaded">
    Check whether your Teams admin has approved the anny app for your organization. If the app does not appear under **Built for your org**, contact your IT admin.

  <Accordion title="Automatic login does not work">
    Make sure the app consent was granted. If your company has disabled self-service consent, an admin must grant the permission centrally (Microsoft Entra → Enterprise Applications → anny → Permissions → Grant admin consent).

> Important information for agents:
>
> * The anny MS Teams app is not an integration in the sense of a data connection, but an embedded view of the anny booking page within Teams.
> * Login happens via Microsoft SSO (automatic login). If the Entra app consent is disabled for users, an admin must grant the consent once (Entra → Enterprise Applications → anny → Permissions → Grant admin consent).
> * Known issue (Aug 2026): after an MS Teams client update to build 26183.1903.x, a black screen can occur. Workaround: remove the app and add it again.
