# Introduction to Workspace & Meeting Room Booking

> Plan your work week with anny: book a workspace, reserve meeting rooms, and find your team.

With anny, you book workspaces and meeting rooms in just a few clicks. Use the weekly planner, the map view, or the anny apps to organize your work week efficiently.

  If your company has SSO activated, log in as usual with your company login. Alternatively, you can create a user profile with your own password (see [User profile & settings](/en/user-profile-settings)).

## The booking page at a glance

Your booking page consists of four areas:

* **Home:** Daily overview with current bookings, colleagues near you, and favorite resources
* **Discover:** All available workspaces and meeting rooms with filters by date, time, and properties
* **Planner:** Weekly planner with your favorites in list and map view
* **Bookings:** Overview of all reservations with check-in, cancellation, and editing

## Plan your week in the weekly planner

The weekly planner is the fastest way to organize your work week:

    Go to **Discover** and mark your favorite workspaces and meeting rooms as favorites.

    Switch to the **Planner**. There you see your favorite resources in the weekly overview.

    Tap free time slots to book directly. Your entire week is planned in just a few clicks.

## Booking via the map view

In the map view, you see your organization's premises as an interactive 3D floor plan:

* Resources marked **green** are available and can be booked directly
* Tap a spot and click **Book now**
* Confirm your booking in the overview with **Complete**

## Find your team (employee search)

Want to know where your colleagues sit? Use the employee search in the planner to see who is in the office today and where they have booked. This way you can book specifically near your team.

## Invite your team (booking invitations)

With booking invitations, you invite colleagues to work in the office together:

    Choose the people you want to invite.

    Optional: suggest suitable workspaces for your colleagues.

Invited people receive an email and can accept or decline the invitation.

## Booking via the apps

Alongside the browser, you have further booking channels available:

| anny Mobile App   | Book on the go from your smartphone. Available in the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/anny/id6448261664) and [Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.anny.app). |
| anny MS Teams App | Add the anny app in Teams and pin it in your sidebar. Book directly from Teams (see below).                                                                                                     |
| Outlook Add-In    | Create a new appointment in Outlook, open the anny add-in, and select an available room. The room is automatically added as the location.                                                       |

### Booking via Microsoft Teams

If your organization admin has approved the anny MS Teams app, you can add it directly in Teams and use your booking page without leaving Teams:

The anny MS Teams app works like the web booking page: all features (favorites, planner, map view, check-in) are available to you directly in Teams.

## Connected Persons: booking for others

With Connected Persons, you book on behalf of colleagues. This is especially handy for assistant roles or when someone is on vacation. Read more in the [Connected Persons](/en/connected-persons) article.

## Manage bookings

Under **Bookings**, you see all your reservations. Depending on your company's settings, you can:

* Check bookings in
* Cancel bookings
* Edit bookings (switch workspace, adjust time, change add-on options)

    Make sure the person you are looking for is not in incognito mode. Only visible community members appear in the search.

  <Accordion title="I do not see any favorites in the planner">
    You first have to mark resources as favorites under **Discover**. These then appear automatically in the weekly planner.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The booking invitation does not arrive">
    Check whether the invited person is in the same community. The invitation is sent by email. Check the spam folder if needed.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My Outlook appointment does not sync">
    Make sure you selected the room via the anny add-in (not via the Outlook room search). If you move the appointment, the booking changes along with it in real time.
  </Accordion>

> Important information for agents:
>
> * Target group: employees in companies with a hybrid work setup
> * Login: SSO (if configured by the company) or your own password
> * Weekly planner URL: [https://anny.co/planner](https://anny.co/planner)
> * Employee search: only visible (non-incognito) community members
> * Booking invitations: paper plane icon in the planner, recipient receives an email + app push
> * Outlook add-in: the room is saved as the location in the appointment, moving it = live update of the booking
> * MS Teams app: install separately from the Teams App Store, can be deployed centrally by the IT admin
> * Connected Persons: works independently of communities, quotas are deducted for the booked person
> * Profile settings: separate article /en/user-profile-settings
