## Manage permissions

For each connection, there are two directions:

**Shared permissions:** Rights you give others for your bookings.

**Accessible permissions:** Rights you request for other people's bookings. New permission requests are sent by email to the other person.

| Permission                       | Description                                        |

| Book for others (book-on-behalf) | Make bookings on behalf of the other person |
| Edit bookings | Cancel or change the other person's bookings |
| Notify about bookings | Get a notification when the connected person books |

## Book for connected persons

You can book for others in two places:

* **In the planner:** In the list or map view, tap the selection arrow or the three dots and choose the person.
* **On the resource page:** Use the **Book for** selection and choose the connected person.

<Tip>
  Alternatively, using the paper plane icon, you can also invite people to a booking whom you are not connected with.
</Tip>

## View bookings

Under **Bookings**, at the top left under **My bookings**, you can switch between your own bookings and those of connected persons. This way you see all reservations you have read rights for.

For each booking, you can view:

* Booking option, date, and time
* Location of the resource (including a map preview)
* Details of the order
* Provider of the booking

## Quotas and booking rules

Connected Persons takes booking rules and quotas per user into account. When you book for another person, the quotas are deducted from the person the booking was made for.
